The 2024 EV6 at a Glance
EV6 Review The Kia EV6 wasn't the automaker's first electric vehicle, but when it debuted in 2022, it put the world on notice that the South Korean car company could build a world-class EV. A small crossover SUV, the 2024 Kia EV6 can go more than 300 miles of driving range on a fully charged battery, according to the EPA. Alternatively, you can trade range for performance, with the top-shelf 576-horsepower EV6 GT accelerating to 60 mph in just 3.6 seconds.Â
For 2024, the automaker reintroduced the Light trim level from 2022 in order to reduce the EV6's base price. That makes the EV6 more appealing to EV buyers until Kia gets its new battery and assembly plant near Savannah, Georgia, up and running. In the meantime, the Kia EV6 remains one of the more compelling electric vehicles you can buy.

What is the Interior Like in the 2024 EV6?
To answer your question in simple terms: stunning!Â
The 2024 Kia EV6 looks more like a sporty hatchback or wagon than an SUV. Its flat floor gives it a spacious interior, with more front legroom than competitors, as well as a roomy rear seat.
Kia managed to turn the EV6's high-tech minimalism into an interior resembling a European premium. The upscale GT-Line's faux leather seats, especially when embellished with the optional suede edging, would be right at home in an Audi or a Bimmer.
The front buckets are nicely padded and bolstered, providing great support and comfort. There are fully reclining heated front seats and a power-adjustable driver's seat with dual-position memory in all EV6 trims. The GT gets model-specific lightweight sport buckets and neon yellow accents on the seats and dashboard.
Forward and side visibility is unobstructed, but the thick rear pillars create blind spots that make the standard rearview camera and the GT-Line trim's surround-view camera especially welcome. Furthermore, Once inside the EV6, there's plenty of space for 6-footers and the seat height is adjustable.Â

How does the 2024 EV6 Handle on the Road?
If you want a fun EV SUV to drive, the 2024 EV6 is the vehicle for you. The Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Kia EV6 are related but Kia has done a nice job of giving the EV6 a character that's all its own. The Kia's suspension tuning is stiffer than the Hyundai's, and the whole car is distinctly a tad sportier than the Ioniq 5. The EV6's sharp steering makes it responsive and easy to control around turns.

What Safety Features are Available in the 2024 EV6?
The 2024 Kia EV6 received five-star ratings for front- and side-crash safety from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). All EV6 models come with a full complement of driver-assist features, including blind-spot warning, lane-keeping assist, lane-following assist, forward-collision avoidance assist, smart cruise control with stop-and-go and curve-speed control, highway drive assist, and rear cross-traffic collision avoidance.
