The Kia Sedona will be getting a re-design for 2022!

973 × 560
This new Sedona is expected to go on sale in 2021 as a 2022 model. It's standard engine is a 3.5-L GDI V6 with 290-hp and 247 lb-ft of torque. The previous years model had a 3.3-L V6 engine, offering 276-hp and 248 lb-ft. There will also be a non GDI V6 with less power and a 2.2-L diesel engine, but they are not expected to come to the United States.

On the exterior we will see a longer hood and contrasting-color C-pillar. There are still sliding doors and a large glass area. A full-width LED taillight is setup on the rear. The new Sedona of course has Kia's signature "tiger-nose" grille, which connects to the headlamps. There are also daytime running lights.

A beltline crease runs from headlamps to taillamps and there is also a chrome garnish along the rocker panel. In addition there is a chrome sail panel with diamond-pattern detailing that is fitted to the C-pillar.

The dashboard is more upscale with a digital gauge cluster. It also has a large 12.3-inch infotainment screen and physical buttons and knobs. The gear shifter is a rotary-style knob and there is a spacious center console. There is also more space in the interior, thanks to a longer wheelbase and overall length.

It will have three-rows and 7 seats with second-row captain chairs in the US model. Other markets will have four-rows that can seat up to 11 people.
Some other changes will be a revised power steering rack, new suspension geometry, and revised spring rates. This should help to improve ride comfort and overall performance.

Keep checking back to see when this model will be available!
