The Kia Optima is Named an IIHS Top Safety Pick Plus

There are two main ingredients for a safe drive: the driver and the car. You, as the driver, need to be attentive to what's happening on the road and aware of your surroundings. And the car you drive needs to have safety features that will protect you. The Kia Optima can deliver the second ingredient. The Optima has been named a Top Safety Pick Plus by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS).

In order to earn the IIHS Top Safety Pick Plus designation, the highest safety rating available, a vehicle must earn a "good" rating in five crash tests, an "advanced" or "superior" rating for front crash prevention, and an "acceptable" or "good" rating for headlights. The Optima meets the mark.

Simply put, the Optima is built to protect you because it uses more than 50% Advanced High Strength Steel. It not only protects, but works to prevent accidents with features like Autonomous Emergency Braking, Advanced Smart Cruise Control, the Forward Collision Warning System, and the Lane Departure Warning System.

There's no doubt that the Optima is ready to keep you safe throughout Sunrise. Explore our new Kia Optima selection, and come into Rick Case Kia Sunrise for a test drive!
